Jean Gutierrez, PhD, RD
Dr. Gutierrez is Associate Professor and Program Director for the combined Master of Science and Dietetics Internship program at The University of Texas Medical Branch and is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nutrition and Metabolism. Dr. Gutierrez completed a BS in Nutritional Sciences Cornell University, MS in Nutrition Science and dietetic internship at S.U.N.Y. Buffalo, and a PhD in Exercise, Nutrition, and Health at Baylor University. She has also served as a nutritionist for varsity teams at Baylor University, Faculty in Residence at the George Washington University, healthy cooking instructor at Martins Cooking School (Amherst, NY), and the nutrition blogger for the FitnessRx magazine website.
